Jumped into Pentam system today, expecting smooth sailing. Thargoids had other plans. System's a mess, folks desperate for supplies. Mission clear: deliver goods and avoid those alien creeps.
Ran into a swarm of space pirates near outpost - ruthless bunch. Had to rely on wits and maneuverability of this trusty Python. Dodged fire and ducked through asteroid field, heart pounding.
Outsmarted them. They didn't see it coming. Activated silent running, slid past them like a ghost. Cargo hold full, must keep it safe.
Limpets repaired minor hull damage, but feeling the nerves. Still, delivered cargo to those in need. Gratitude immense, helped them prepare for Thargoid onslaught.
Resting now, but the battle isn't over. Will face Thargoids head-on next time. Trusting instincts and ship, ready for whatever comes.
