What a day. Tried to land at beleaguered port, chaos reigned. Thargoid Scouts and Interceptors swarmed, missiles zipped past. Nerves frayed, but determined to offer aid.
Misjudged approach, clipped another ship. Panic and confusion. Didn't mean to, but authorities unrelenting. Slapped with a hefty fine, no sympathy for the accidental collision.
Ship's a wreck, barely holding together. Canopy cracked, thrusters faltering. Worried she might not make it past Thargoid blockade. Authorities deaf to pleas, won't repair or assist.
Hope fading, but will try to rally. Going to scour black market, seek repairs on the down low. Piece it together tonight with bubble gum if need be. Can't give up on this fight, too many lives at stake.
Tomorrow, another day, another chance. Will try my luck in the morning when fresh.
