Entry #002 - Updates on life

Well, b'y, things have changed quite a bit since the last time I sat down to pen this log. I definitely should jot down more often. What’s been happening? Let's see...The whole thing with trying to get a job with CQC Holdings didn't pan out. The organization is spread over too many systems to manage effectively. Their headquarters have been battling drought and terrorist attacks for months, yet they still won’t hand out permits to pilots below Champion rank. The star squadron, We Rock You Roll, doesn't seem to give a fiddler's fart about the organization's plight despite their pledged allegiance. More of shut-ins than we are, I s’pose!
On the brighter side, while traveling near Darian, I ran out of fuel and had to dock at William’s Reformatory in Gangbetae. I've never been a fan of the authoritative types, as we cherish our freedom more than life itself where I'm from, post-liberation. But the Warden turned out to be a right good man. He offered me a drink in the concourse bar and we had a yarn about crime and punishment. By the time the bottle was three-quarters empty, he asked if I wanted to work for him as Deputy Warden of the prison colony. Despite my unsavory background, he had a laugh and assured me anyone could become a correctional officer, even those born from a life of crime. Deeply moved by his words, I signed a defense contract with him. Now, Airlock Dwellers are contracted correctional officers at Gangbetae Prison Colony. I've become the Deputy Warden, and our squadron Commodore, Chomper, is the Commissioner. Though Gangbetae is a small system with just the reformatory as its outpost, I believe this is a cracking new beginning for our squadron. We can help this kind man expand his faction while increasing security for all CQC Pilots, who might not be as well-armed in real life.
Lastly, I've met someone I deem to be a worthy ally: CMDR Yuma Saideleer from the Yomar Consortium. After reading through his exploits, I must say he's lived a colorful life, way more vibrant than both my current and past lives combined! He isn't just a worthy ally; he's an ally I must have. I admire him with my whole heart.
Spinning webs and weaving tales,
Yours truly,
