Logbook Entry - Day 1 - Stardate 76754.5: Thargoid WarToday proved to be a challenging day in the ongoing battle against the Thargoid menace. Our squadron engaged with six hostile Thargoid vessels in a high-intensity conflict zone. Through skillful maneuvering and teamwork, I managed to dispatch six enemies before the situation took a turn for the worse.
As the battle raged on, it became increasingly apparent that our forces were at a disadvantage. We suffered significant losses, and the Thargoid's relentless assault only intensified. Recognizing the need for a tactical retreat, I gave the order to disengage and regroup at a safe distance.
Despite the setback, our squadron remains undeterred. We will analyze today's events, learn from our mistakes, and come back stronger. The fight against the Thargoids is far from over, and we will continue to stand our ground for the sake of humanity.
