DISTANT WORLDS 2 - DAY 13 - UNLUCKY THIRTEEN
25 Jan 2019Zak Starfall
Galactic stardate 25JAN3305Decided to do some 'old school' exploring today.
We picked a destination in Galmap, set a course, filtered for G,F and K stars and went looking for ELWs, WWs and AWs.
With economic routing set we had no need to stop and fuel scoop all day.
Unfortunately, it turned out to be a fairly quiet day with very few finds, only 1 ELW, 3 WWs and a couple of AWs. Although we kept an eye out for any unusual signal sources, we found no signs of life today.
Guess that's exploring for you, some days you get lucky, some days you don't!
We're closing in on the Omega Nebula now. Should reach Omega Mining tomorrow, which gives us plenty of time to resupply and stock up on provisions before fleet departure on the 27JAN3305.
The next civilisation we reach will be the new Orbis starport currently being built and transported out to Stuemeae FG-Y d7561 near the galactic core, so we'll need to make sure we're self-sufficient for the next several weeks.
DW2 is starting to get more serious...
