Having rested up on the carrier, I've departed for the local starport to refit the Python.I got my other mining tools shipped in from Sol and replaced the weapons with the displacement missile and another mining laser. Turns out, running with only one is pretty slow, especially with all the extra fragments released when using a class A prospector. I'm also going to source a better power distributor so I can run both lasers for an extended period.
I'm feeling pretty optimistic about this. Making big credits for mining tritium while flying to Colonia is a pretty nice opportunity. And checking my inbox, I've also received an invitation to the United Trade Alliance. Must be a squadron the others are in. Looks like Fozzy put in a good word for me. I'll look into it while I refit the distributor and fill up on limpets.
