I just noticed it's been a while since I've written in the logbook.I've returned to the bubble from Colonia not too long ago. I've learned from the squadron some planets where grade 4 raw materials are abundant. I've spent the day traveling out to them to load up on these materials so I can trade them down to get tons of the lesser grade materials.
Now I'll have to admit, collecting selenium is pretty tedious. It doesn't come in those big crystals like the other materials did, so I had to look through some brain trees, and it didn't help that the moon they were on orbited and rotated very quickly, so I ended up spending most of the time in the dark. But I got it in the end, and after traveling to a station to trade down the materials, I decided to sell the exploration data I had for some extra credits.
I'm glad I did. That exploration data was just enough to get me promoted.
We've got a new Elite commander in this galaxy.
