El Verde and Doublemint Guns

While my original ship is officially named ANACONDA to intimidate locals, its real actual real name says what it is and does what it says: EL VERDE. Yeah it's all green all the time and hear I come suckers!EL VERDE was a mighty good Si'winder mkII - quite a bit different from old grandpa Rupee's historical plans. Mostly thanks to learning from him, I daresay, mine's a bit better. That's subjective -- depending on one's style. In my case, my personal style for EL VERDE is my own. So that's perfect. No argument from me on that one. And I came to think of myself as a mythical legendary swindler such as myself, with that identity, ahhhh renowned around the quadrant,
And that name began to passed on to the subsequent ship, a vulture, whose identity comes into focus even now, my new ship. Now they greet me as "Core Dynamics Papa Echo November", coming into landing tower range. A fancy little carrion, she is. I guess it started as the vulture named el verde, but it was mostly just in the shop as I flew the Sidewinder. It needed its own name
First I renamed her to El Buitre de la Menta Verde, sort of a spearmint vulture, come to peck your dried out spearmint patch I guess. The spearmint connection and purchase of a green weapon color for the pair of lasers, ed to her now name the DOUBLEMINT GUNS. Chew on these suckers!
