The End of The Beginning.

20 Sep 2023Joshua Prox
My only real regret is waiting until now to start this journey.

I have been a pilot for while now. I have seen black holes and nebulae, I have traveled to distant worlds and come into contact with creatures not of my own kind. I have explored wrecks and saved others from the darkness of the void, but not me. I been around the bubble and even ventured into the unknown a time or two, but never far. I have experienced combat and piracy, on both sides of the equation. I started to think that I had seen or done it all.

But I was wrong. There is so much more out there.

There is so much that I do not know and so much that I want to learn. But like all good things, this will take some time -- Patience my friend, patience.

The end is that of the beginning stages of flying the stars by myself. There is a certain kind of joy in the solitude of space don't get me wrong, but there are others here who can help and guide and teach. And I need them.

So, I have made application to The Fatherhood. They are an expansive squadron and I sense many like-minded souls in this group. Perhaps here I will find my people.
