The Explorer's Anchorage is confirmed to be the closest starport to the Galactic Core, and boy are we glad to be docked inside of her. She's barely operational but we are verbally informed that expansion will continue over the next four weeks. Recent Galnet reports also support this. I think we will do best to stick around for a month and see what she does. I'm in no rush to turn the Empress back to the bubble, not with the recent Thargoid activity scorching across inhabited space. We are still unclear if we want to press on to Beagle Point as a crew. It feels as if our main mission was to haul these rares way out here, and we've done it.

It's beer o'clock somewhere right? Let's crack open a cold one.

General Notes:
1. Explorer's Anchorage took delivery of 166 rares from the cargo hold. Dockhands informed us they haven't seen many Imperial Cutter's out here.
2. Set a crew watch whilst docked - half of the station services aren't functional - expecting their security may be lacking too.

Maintenance Notes:
1. Investigate heat damage from excursion to the core. Temp recorded at 150+ for over 3 minutes while engaging the frameshift drive.
2. COVAS is working, latest update was corrosive damage during heat intake - let's get that checked out too.
3. Schedule AMFU repairs whilst docked here. There are no repair services on board the station yet. Have the Hull SEAL's on standby.

Crew Notes:
1. GU97 now installed with new COVAS, as per fighter pilot Queen Carlson's request.
