Shinrarta Dezhra is becoming more hostile with pirate activity. The INV Empress was badly damaged when it was attacked entering the system this week; the hull was down to 43% and every module was damaged. Fortunately, at the last station the AMFU was installed so crew were able to make some repairs out of supercruise. It took 36 limpets and all of our AMFU resources to patch the ship up until we could get into dock.
Following the incident, a rapid debriefing took place on the command deck. It was deemed best that we dock at Jameson Memorial to make the preliminary repairs, and then move swiftly on to Deciat for some further engineering. The Communications Officer made a connection with Felicity Farseer to arrange the scheduled works.
We stocked up on a few extra parts and materials that we may need on Deciat. Further resource gathering will scheduled shortly afterwards for brief two week expedition into the black.
General Notes:

2. Laundry services have now resumed after shift rotation.
3. Repair Limpet servicing completed.
4. Software upgrades made to the Detailed Surface Scanner (DSS)

Maintenance Notes:
1. Thrusters reading at 98% - external damage caused by dropping out of SC (Repaired to 100% functionality and output)
2. Shield Generator at 88% - heat damaged (Repaired to 100% functionality and output)
3. Frameshift Drive Booster was down to 82% (Repaired to 100% functionality and output)
4. Both Beam Lasers were damaged to 89% - more heat damage and general wear and tear (Repaired to 100% functionality and output)
5. All of the Shield Boosters were fried (Repaired to 100% functionality and output)
6. Fuel Scoop down to 87% (Repaired to 100% functionality and output)
7. Life Support was reading 96% (Repaired to 100% functionality and output)
8. Double-checked the Power Distributor, and realigned all power to systems (Repaired to 100% functionality and output)
9. The Cargo Hatch has taken a battering, pretty much a third of it was missing (Repaired to 100% functionality and output)
Crew Notes:
1. Bunk 4 is out of order.
2. New resources procurement procedure uploaded to all personal comms devices.
3. Fighter pilot training will resume drills 0600hrs - Modules: A.2, C.14, G.52, M.2 and X.53.
