Age might be getting to me: Fine tuned Phantom Limb, my trusty old Krait Phantom. Or so I thought. Forgot to re-install the repair limpet controller. And nearly died from crashing into a planet on the last quick exploration trip.Tired piloting kills!
Had enough hull integrity left to allow me to limp home under my own power. Thought that did put an end to exploring biology on surfaces on the (premature) return trip.
Lesson learned?
Let’s assume so.
Need to stock up on raw materials and data. Braintree harvesting and wake scanning coming up very soon. And refit that ship.
Also visited my old friend Ellsworth in Lelao last week and helped his outfit for a few days. Good to see the folks doing well. Small, but profitable operation. I wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for them getting me started, after my ‘career change.’
