Oh Boy!

It was both exhilarating and disappointing yesterday. The Thargoid Titan was finally taken down by the brave commanders who got into the cloud. I am new to this part of space and have been relinquished to having an unusable ship to get to the Titan but not for a lack of trying. I spent countless hours grinding for money and materials to get my ship to an anti-xeno condition but failed miserably. On my first attempt, I was intercepted by "you guessed it" an Interceptor which sent me back to a rebuy in less than five minutes. The second attempt was not much better. My only solace was my destroying sixteen scout Thargoid ships but as all commanders know, they can be killed by throwing limpets at them. I am now going to seek them out and learn. Wish me good luck....Today in my quest to attack the Thargoids where they live, I traveled to an occupied sector. I ran from the Interceptors and killed all the scouts. It was a busy time. I found empty abandoned stations everywhere. Two stations were still on fire and I did not have a rescue ship, just one that kills Thargoids.
The "Lisa Clare", my carrier, is on the way now. The jump time was over an hour. WTF. When did that start happening?
It doesn't matter. I will be here for a few days preparing for the next Titan takedown.
