I've been a pilot for two years now, but finally decided to start a logbook. I guess I want to leave behind a testimony of my travels after all... My name is Eldrich Samuel Thames. I was born on Panmore, the first planet of the Algreit system, located about 57 light-years from Sol.
Being a planet dedicated mostly to agriculture, I decided by four I wanted a more interesting life. I joined a trading ship crew when I turned fourteen. Been a spacer since then.
Being part of a crew in a large trading vessel was hard, but I was rewarded with great vistas across inhabited space. This encouraged me to learn the basics of spaceflight. I wanted to see what lied beyond the Bubble... It took me the best of fifteen years to save enough Credits to buy a third-rate Sidewinder at LHS 3447. I've been an independent pilot ever since. It's been a great ride so far. And I wish to share it with the rest of the Galaxy from now on.
