Colonia Galleon Project Progress Report #02
I went on with my Tuesday’s regular live transmission. It ran smoothly until a little after reaching the 1 hour mark, then started to basically drop every frame, only audio was working fine. Assuming Quantum Disturbances were affecting my signal quality, I had to end it after only 1h 40m of transmission, out of the minimum 4h I usually do.
However, after I killed the transmission I did a full diagnostic of my broadcasting gear, and it seems this one’s on me! Signal strength was good; ran a mock transmission for a couple hours with zero dropped frames. I think it had something to do with me updating critical signal encoding software earlier and not resetting the ship computer. Hopefully I won’t have any issues during my next scheduled live tomorrow.
In order to avoid falling behind schedule with the ongoing project, I had to do the day’s shopping runs while off the air. By the time I called at day after buying a few tons of Live Hecate Sea Worms at station RJH1972, the Urca’s cargo bay was holding 432 tons, distributed among 77 different Rare Commodities.
Still pending to buy 36 Rares for a total of 608 tons/113 items. Had to remove HIP 118311 Swarm from the list - basically illegal everywhere except a few systems, mostly Anarchy ones. So I had to buy a few extra tons of other items to compensate.
I’m going to do a few shopping runs today to ensure I finish this part of the project by tomorrow, as intended.
