Colonia Galleon Project Progress Report #05Urca arrived at Birkeland all beaten up and scarred after all those long supercruises. It took Station Services a full four days to get her back to mint condition. During those days I prepared all project related documentation, including my full flight plan.
For the journey to Colonia I’m going to traverse the oldest established route, the so-called “Colonia Highway”, using the outposts built along it as waypoints and stops to sell the exploration data I collect as I go along - this is my first-ever journey to Colonia, so every system will be undiscovered for me - and conduct any module or hull repairs the Urca might need.
With all preparations set and the Urca ready to go, yesterday at 19:55 Galactic Standard time I left Birkeland City with a course set to Hillary Depot, the first Waypoint in my flight plan.
It took me the better part of my 4-hour live transmission window to get there, even considering that I did at minimum a full FSS scan of every system, and probed a few planets of interest as a bonus - including some that according to my computer have never been mapped before.
I docked at Hillary at 23:38, making the official travel time 3 hours and 43 minutes, traversing 2,160 light-years in 87 jumps.
Current linear distances from departure and arrival points (Ross 154 and Colonia) are 2,096.04 and 20,112.76 light-years, respectively.
Sold all valid exploration data at Hillary for a total of 14,048,545 Credits, and paid 2,058 Credits for AFMU restocking and minor FSD repairs - spent too much time scooping a star and got slightly burned, but fortunately module damage was minimal.
Despite getting a bit toasty, all 608 tons of cargo are safe and accounted for. I got interdicted only once during this part of the journey.
Next Waypoint in the route is Amundsen Terminal. However it’s unlikely I can fly tomorrow because of personal issues, so most probably I’ll continue my journey next Tuesday.
