Colonia Galleon Project Progress Report #07
This week I completed the fourth leg of my journey to Colonia. Due to the fact that this one was about twice as long as the previous ones, however, I had to do it in two parts.
I left Eagle’s Landing on Tuesday at 19:38, but I only managed to travel 1,724 Light-years - about one-third of the leg - before having to make a field stopover, landing on body A 3 a of the Flyiedgiae GN-H b2-10 system at 23:41, for a total of 4 hours and 3 minutes flight time.
Yesterday I did the rest of the journey to Sacaqawea after a tiring 6 hours and 18 minutes flight session - due to a below-deck issue that I’d rather not mention here that kept me away from the pilot’s chair for nearly an hour. Departure time from stopover was 19:35, arriving at Landing Pad 01 of Sacaqawea Space Port at 1:53 of Friday April 17, after 3,499 LY worth of Witchspace.
So, the total numbers for leg 4 are: 10 hours 21 minutes overall flight time; 5,223 LY total hiperspace distance; 143 jumps; 2 interdictions from the same damned pirate! (had to submit on the first attempt, then got me again after going back to supercruise) All cargo safe and accounted for.
On the exploration front, I managed to find yet more unexplored bodies, and even a completely virgin, never-before explored system - the first star with my name on it. Also found a system with 4 unexplored, unmapped terraformable HMCs in it. I also mapped other noteworthy bodies along the way, in addition to doing complete FFS scans of everything along my route.
Thanks to these first discoveries and first mappings, besides the rest of the massive exploration data package I left at Sacaqawea’s UC office, the Pilots Federation deemed my recent discoveries worthy enough to grant me the Explorer rank of Pioneer. Only one more promotion left to get the Elite Explorer rank, and earn the highly coveted Triple Elite status.
