Just came back home to Jamie. Instead, I found a devouring ball of fire and rubble, sheltering a mountain of corpses and lost hopes. The bugs are swarming outside, decimating our kind. How many just barely managed to escape this deadly invasion? How many perished while their world was crumbling before their eyes? The braver ones rally outside the mail slot in a suicidal attempt to push them back. Or is it just our collective desperation? We need to prevail, we need to survive. We need all the help we can get. Now it's not the time for tears or regrets. Abord and launch, commanders! All hell breaks loose. Don't wait for me, I shall see the end of this, one way or another!
