Celebrating the journey to Elite Explorer

Here I am, docked at Jameson Memorial in the Shinrarta Dezhra. I'm told it's fitting that my first Elite rank is in Exploration. After all, it's in my nature to explore and experience the universe and the adventure of life. The beauty of our galaxy cannot be overstated. I've explored hundreds of systems and landed on so many beautiful planets, yet I know my adventure has just started. When I finished yesterday's exploration loop, I knew I had enough data to earn Elite. So, I flew back to Vinge Ring in Bakadunika, the station where I got the help I needed to get started. My screens lit up with congratulations and invitations, including one to Shinrarta Dezhra, the headquarters of the Pilots Federation. It was that invitation that I was looking forward to and to that system that I set course.
I arrived in Shinrarta Dezhra after a few jumps, took a few images for posterity, then set course for a nearby Pilot's Federation tourist beacon. Landing near the beacon, I hopped in my SRV and drove to scan it. Why not just scan it from altitude in my ship? Because where's the fun in that? Besides, this way I could pose for a photo (see attached).
After a short break to read over the message from the beacon, I set course for Jameson Memorial. I intended to make Jameson Memorial my new home base, at least for a while. Docking went well. My copilot AI even played the historic music theme of my namesake while I docked the "Adventure", my Asp Explorer. I disembarked, sold some recently collected ExoBio data and called it a night. I knew I'd leave this first official log for today, as I was tired from the travels of the day.
So, here we are. Starting a new day. What's next? Everything, anything, ADVENTURE!
