In 2 days, the 7th of the 8 Titans will fall.I avoided the Thargoid war as much as I possibly could, I honestly never thought we had a chance.
Even as I watched the Pilot Federation take down Titan after Titan, repelling attack after the attack, I just didn't think we'd see the end of it.
After the formation of the Anti-Xeno Initiative, and various other task forces dedicated to fighting off the alien invaders, I started to have hope.
They continued to repel the threat, and show how powerful humans can be when they cooperate against a larger, more powerful enemy.
That's when they attacked the Pilots Federation capital, Shinrarta Dezhra. Far too close to home, I could no longer stay out of it. I equipped Nero, my Python MKII, with the latest AX weaponry, refit my hull and headed out to join the defense. I met with an AXI fleet docked around a rescue ship in V886 Centauri, where they recruited me into their ranks. Our crew jumped into the system together, and entered the chaos surrounding Jameson Memorial.
Thousands of Goids later, and a new appreciation for Xenowarfare, we successfully defended the station.
A reported 815,000+ Thargoids were killed in the attack on Shinrarta. CMDR KIA's dont have official numbers due to a plethora of different factions and independent pilots jointing in the defense. However, the fallen Commanders will be forever remembered by their fellow AX soldiers.
In 2 days, there will only be one left.
