Find here the collated materials pertaining to the ongoing and future endeavours of the office Quastorum Notii, should it please the administration of the Empire of Achenar in its search for notable occurrences, locations, and artefacts independent of those factions beneath it, for the month of November 3310.-----
Owing in part to the lifting of the system's restrictions, an emergency survey of all historic and strategic landmarks of the Sol system has been ordered pending and subsequent to the arrival of the Thargoid Titan designated 'Cocijo'. The reconnaissance vessel designated 'IRS Suicider' has been equipped for the operation. Should the discovery of new artefacts with relation to the Thargoids be reported, as is considered likely, this office would very much desire to examine them.
With the widespread deployment of the third vessel class optimised for use of new generation technologies, with no development office reporting unusual behaviours, this office rescinds its direction to members to use the experimental designation 'IXS' for all ships utilising said technologies. It remains advised, however system anomalies to these vessels are now considered unlikely.
Many systems feature unique attributes which make them desirable to all commanders, such as the residences of notable persons or the supply of rare goods. Whilst naturally it is this office's recommendation for all to be turned over to the Empire of Achenar for safeguarding, with consideration to the profound factionalism that regrettably plagues all notables within the galaxy it is considered imperative that the fortification of these systems are not raised to a provocative degree. This office writes a proposal to be deployed to the greater community should such a thing become likely, that it be counteracted for the good of all.
The system Orrere, as well as several others, have suffered significant collapse in the supply of rare goods, due to rising demands of late. A polling of the community resources concerning the matter has resulted in no satisfactory analysis of the production of such commodities and as such an investigation is recommended launched to determine what factors affect this, the dissemination of which is hoped to improve general availabilities for all.
The nebula located most southwards of the core systems, centred 'Monkey Head Sector KC-V c2-2', has been designated a target for survey in relation to possible xenological presences. All systems with greater proximity than one hundred lightyears is to be examined thoroughly. A new flagship with designation 'IFS Hagemon' has been commissioned for the duty, with shakedown duties being conducted at present.
This office proposes to submit to analysis the nature of Witch Space by measure of average intensity of various spectra at each visible fragment across a number of approaches towards a dark star, so as not to muddy the results. By this method this office hopes to uncover some pattern which would otherwise remain hidden to the appearance of this space. Selection of the vessel most suited to such an analysis is ongoing, as is the assessment of risk towards the depreciated sanity of those conducting it.
This office finds no novel evidence for the existence, nor the location of the body known as Raxxla subsequent to its participation in the attempted ousting of the ruling faction controlling the body known as Triton. This is considered in part due to the aforementioned emergency status of the Sol system. As such this investigation is placed on hold until such a time as the system returns to normalcy. All materials relating to the target body in ongoing surveys are to be directed to this investigation however.
The system designated 'Smojue TV-M b36-0' has been submitted for analysis by Commander StressedTinkiwinki, regarding a notable stellar phenomenon that is unable to be properly destination locked. Verification of the observation is pending.
Several vessel classifications, including the venerated Imperial Cutter class, are found absent from the available resources concerning performance efficiency of thruster packages. An investigation will be ordered to rectify this.
All systems of the Hipparcos catalogue that have not been surveyed in at least five years are to be submitted for analysis by order of this office, citing apparent frequency of significant findings for these objects. five thousand, four hundred, and twenty-eight systems have been marked for survey, with expeditions underway.
