WHERE AM I??

Star Date, 979574.73. I'm not quite sure if this is the correct star-date, or where I am currently located in space and time. My ship was attacked by an alien race unknown. Their ship was in the shape of a star and seems to be alive. After they had somehow shut down all of the systems located in the ship my crew and I are left helpless. The alien ship projected some kind of beam at us. I managed to escape in an Enterprise shuttle pod. It was small enough that the alien vessel did not take notice. I was then close to Deep Space 9, so I headed towards a wormhole. Something inside the wormhole went terribly wrong and it seemed to almost collapse in on us. My small ship could not escape and then suddenly I was thrown out. I am not sure if I am in the Alpha quadrant or Gamma quadrant. I just don't know where I am, what galaxy what time or what alternate universe this is. My calculations have brought me to the conclusion that I was forced into another dimension. Now I am floating in space with no idea how to control this ship, a ship that is completely different then the one I was on when entering the worm hole. I feel strange, like myself but not myself. I must find some kind of manual or documents on board. Star-date: 979574.85. The computer is telling me that this ship is called an ASP Explorer. Good thing everything is in English. I have found some instructions on how to control this ship and I'm in the process of trying to communicate with anyone close to me in this galaxy. I'm going to try and Warp to a star system close by. The only problem is I don't know if warp even exists in this universe. My computer is telling me that I have something called a hyper drive. I will try to use it before anything else goes wrong.
