Right, so, now that I'm flying again, I suppose I ought to get back in the habit of loggin' stuff, so...Took a few months off from flying to work a merc job dirtside, but just had to get back out in the black when these ET-frakkers started showing up! Jumped out to the Pleiades to go toe-to-toe with the Thargoids... yeah, they either got way bigger or way more toes than me, cause I didn't stand a chance! Good thing I'm so proficient at running awa... err I mean "retrograde tactical maneuvers" yeah... cause I didn't quite lose my ship but it was close. So, instead of killing 'em, I made a few bucks snatching cargo out from under their noses with my Collector drones, but that got old quick.
Ended up going back to my old standby, murdering bad people for money! And with everybody else distracted by those damn aliens, there were plenty of targets for my guns. Just a few days of that and I was able to trade my beat-up old Python for a beat-up old Anaconda. Of course I couldnt afford any systems for it, so I just crammed the internals from the python into it. Its slow, clumsy, and a bullet magnet, but I'm loving the extra firepower and having my own fighter escort is pure awesome!
