Commander's Log [Stardate 110645]

Finally getting back into the swing of it. We made it to our second destination today and we're on our way home! Well, not quite actually. I checked my maps and realized that along the way there is a rather amazing system that I found during my days as a new explorer. It's right on the way back to 17 Draconis, so I thought I might as well revisit it and say hi to the system! That is about 4kly away from us right now.

----------------

Upon reaching the system, I was immediately presented with a very high frequency pulsar and main-sequence star in a close binary. Further out in the system are a number of large gaseous planets and Y dwarfs. What makes this system so special is around one of those Y dwarfs. Four individual waterworlds orbiting the same celestial body!

After visiting those old friends, we started the long trek back. And might I say, the crew is very determined to make it home before Dracon Day (it's a 17 Draconis thing, never really understood the point myself). We traveled 15,000ly total today, and are only 6,000ly away from home.
