19 DEC 3302 - LOG#001 | -First of Many!-Well I thought it would be a good idea to start a logbook, seeing as I’ve not really got anyone else to talk to. But that's fine! Many great minds once wrote their own log books in the past. Though I highly doubt I'll ever get to reach the same status they did. If you're reading this in some archive of great historical people, feel free to stop now... I'm sure there has just been a big mixup!
So I guess I'll start with what I've been up to this week? Though it's mostly the same as last week however. A lot more tourists this time of year taking up most of the booking sheets. I think it’s because Christmas is coming up soon. I don't mind it at all but I still find it rather odd that people still celebrate some old earth tradition. I mean I've never even seen snow up close before, and wanting to believe that giving gifts to each other is the best way to show our appreciation is a very materialistic way of thinking...
I'll still get that dinner set for Mum though.
Oh I just remembered! I took a trip over to the CoalSack Nebular on Saturday. Always wanted to give it a look. I love the thought of flying through our galaxies life givers and star makers. Though this one was not as pretty as I thought it would be. Kind of spooky how dark it gets in there. I managed to find a few uncharted planets in "Musca Dark Region RF-C A 14-0 1 A" just outside the Nebula, so it was worth the journey! I would have kept searching inside of the Nebula, but the amount of dust particle activity in the area made it rather hard to get solid readings. It did spark an idea to help out in the R&D department... but I don't want to take all the credit.
I think that's enough time wasting for today though. I have more booked flights to cover for company seeing as a lot of the others are taking advantage of having Christmas time off. Well I'm more than happy to take advantage of the Christmas overtime pay. But that's just between me and you, Diary.
