Mining, Elite #2, the Haymaker, and a good long rest

Deep core mining is a LOT OF FUN, and pretty lucrative. On top of my exploration data, this afforded me my first large ship, the Federal Corvette.
A couple of weeks of this and I finally, after 4 years, made Elite in Trading:
Returned home to the Gate...
and threw money at a big ship.
That big ship is a lot of fun in CZs and CMBs. I mean, a lot. During this time I gained Combat deadly:
I then reconfigured it for Xeno hunting and tried it out after a long drive to Maia. Soon learned that these large ships really suck for Xeno hunting. The Thargoids are too nimble. Back to the Krait, and decided to head for the Witch Head Nebula. However, at this point I REALLYT did not look forward to the slog from Pleides to WHN. Enough with the travel already. I took a short vacation on a nearby mid-grav ELW, and loved it so much I stayed there for a year.
