Once More Into The Black

Initally I just stepped out to map my old ELW discoveries, but this also turned into a proper voyage. Decided to visit the furthest southerly point and the south meridian, and loop back to investigate the Formadine Rift.
Some sights along the way:
My beloved ELWs
Shortly after my visit to the most southerly system, at Amundsen Point, I lingered by an iron magma vent to warm up, but dallied a little too long:
and ended up SRV free...
I schlepped back to a handy fleet carrier positioned on the outside trailing glacactic arm, to restock before heading for the south meridian
The pair ...
Towards the meridian I visited the walls and canyons of - a pretty spectacular place!
There's lots of biology around here if you spot the right moon. It's easy to get hung up on the living landscape...
The squashed planet - before heading directly south.
The southern meridian took only about 6 jumponium jumps each way, so not too challenging. And then began my crossing the long dark of Mor... sorry the Formadine Rift... Luckily able to access my library of ancient earth 'You Tube videos' for this.
