Wanted....

Recently I got a call from a local representitive of Her Royal Highness Emperor Arissa Lavigny-Duval, that she wanted some chaos sewn in the nearby system of Mundigal. Seems that Li Yong Rui had set the place up as a control point, and the Sirius Corporation had been looking at the nearby Imperial systems as chances to expand. Well...we can't have that, can we? I decided that if I'm going to do this, I should probably try to hide my ties to the Emperor, so I grabbed the Federal Dropship I'd earned by infiltrating the Federal Navy, and headed out. The RDS Centurion is an excellent combat ship, and perfect for the kind of nearly pirate work that I'm taking part in. She may not be fast, but she can rip apart most any ship she comes across with the full pulse laser loadout I carry, and can last for quite a while if my victims are escorted.
Once I arrived in system, I started hunting around. Turns out that there's a pirate station in system, named after an old-Earth disaster that I discovered in my databanks. Fukushima....a nuclear reactor disaster, and the name of a pirate outpost. Also my new home while trolling the spacelanes for Sirius Corporation ships. And there are a LOT of them here...I'm not going to say that the hunting is easy, but I hardly ever spend more than 5 minutes searching before I find a likely victim. I have learned to avoid the Type 9s, though...my current interdictor just is not strong enough to pull them out, and even when I DO manage it it takes far too long to kill them.
I also have been finding a share of wanted ships around the area. Its a nice supplement to my work, since killing ships for a power dosn't pay especially well (for some strange reason the local authorities don't take kindly to it, and have a habit of opening fire instead of paying bounties...go figure).
Well, off to hunt down some more defenseless traders. A personal note to Mr. Rui...please tell your transports to start carrying items of worth instead of your useless industrial machinery. At least then I might make something out of the work I'm doing!
