Well, its been a few weeks since I stopped by Biruni Gateway and ended up stranded. I'd been running prisoners back to Achenar from this station for trials in the Emperors Dawn terrorism cases, and my Adder started acting funny, so I decided that it was time to have an overhaul done (plus, I wanted to have one of those shiny new planetary landing suites installed). That was one hell of a mistake...turns out that the Adder I bought cheap at Achenar had been not just used, but horrifically abused by the previous owner. The computer systems are all years out of date, there were major structural flaws (glad to find that out here and not in the middle of a pirate furball...the prisoners I'm hauling have a lot of value as Imperial Slaves, and the pirates really like trying for em), and the drives were held together with duct tape and bailing wire. They say I should be back up and running by this coming Thursday...nearly a full month after I arrived. Let's hope they're right!
