Lapannodaya Conflict.

For weeks now the FRC has been on the path to Expansion. From taking Delkar, to living through one hell of a Boom state it was only a matter of time. I'm a newbie in the X Wing of the FRC but these past few weeks have been thrilling to say the least. From a nobody to the guy who runs with the Wing Commander is something I can be proud of. When I joined the FRC had already been around for years. As a new Roughneck running with the others was something of a whirlwind. The Fleet alone brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it, and sitting in the cockpit of the Shadow Gambit, I could only dream of reaching such heights. For weeks I traveled across Delkar and the surrounding systems, lugging cargo, data and "goods" to stations, being the Space Taxi for the Wing was something I knew I could do and do well. It may be somewhat of an overblown since of importance but I like to think I did a part in what has happened in the past few weeks. Then, the X Wing was born. As I recieved my Wings and Reclaimer status I figured it was time to do something more. With the cash on hand from my runs I finally bought myself a ship, and then another. The Maelstrom is my home, along with the Gambit, and I couldn't be happier. Today though, something new happened. and I am still giddy over it all.War. Its begun.
Lapannodaya has broken out into War against us and the Partnership of Lapannodaya. It has been building for a week or two and today it finally kicked off, and it is now my time to show that I am worthy of these wings and the people who follow me into battle. The first Skirmish happened today next to Lapannodaya A1----the battle was intense. I watched as laser fire and multicannons ripped through hulls and sky alike, ships burning in the darkness of space and each side vied for position. The FNS Reverence and FNS Venomous Fang were beautiful sites to see on my wing when the going got tough. This is the first battle in what is sure to be many, and as I fall asleep tonight, listening to the clicks and thumps of Invergary Station breathing I can't help but smile. This is my home, the Wing my family, and I will do whatever it takes to protect that.
Not sure who fired the first shot, but can damn well say who will fire the last----
