Exploring HO!!

I have begun the great journey as an apprentice Explorer. I've spent plenty of time at the helm of Erza earning a reputation of being a Dangerous commander, and nearly to the rank of "Deadly" in some corners of space. I docked Erza at my home port:I jumped in a disposable shuttle and scoured the local systems for a Diamondback Explorer and spent an hour or so scrounging local systems for the best outfitting locations to make my DBE jump nearly 32 LY, get hundreds of LY range on a tank, and have everything I need for weeks in space. I've gotten settled in, and have plotted a route towards the Neutron star fields near the core. Meandering with short jumps through already discovered space isn't for me. I am going to cover as much distance as possible in the next few days until I am where all the bright lights are:
Then I'll slow down and exercise my jumps with more precision and prejudice, but for now, nothing below 27 LY is worth my time.
I've already hit quite a few un-discovered systems, but most are full of boring rocky planets. I discovered a lovely water world though:
I now find myself some ~1000+ lightyears from the closest space station, civil war, pirate saturated mining site, or trade route. It's quiet out here. It's peaceful. There's no more blood or money out here. Just stars, chunks of rock, and the occasional world with primitive life. I understand why some chose this life. I'm not sure if it's the life I want for myself forever, but it's what I want right now.
