That gig with the Marlinists food demand was probably the nicest check I've gotten in my short time being a fully licensed CMDR. Got a bit of money, helped some poor hungry refugees out, and I got a line up on some long-term work that may prove beneficial. Can't ask for much more, right?I've picked up a contract with the Sirius Corporation. While getting used to the new life style and running some food down to the Marlinists, I kept up with the news behind the refugee crisis and the ongoing talks about a Galactic Summit being hosted by those Hippie Techno Commies from Utopia space. Sirius' CEO Li Yong-Rui really came off as the kind of guy I can work for, was the one who helped settled the Marlinists in the first place and now the bold son of a bitch is trying to take this Galactic Summit stunt right from under Pranav's rear-end after the food crisis is settled.
Really sticking it to those commie bastards, I like that. I'm thinking by signing on with Sirius I'll get a shot at pushing these hippies back while also getting a nice paycheck! It's a win-win situation if you ask me. Alternatively if this gig doesn't work out I could always sign on with the Federation under President Hudson and help the Republican outperform those closet-commies doing the Shadow President's bidding.
Though, I'm trying to stay out of Federal space... Find a life on the fringes in the independent sectors. Why I became a CMDR in the first place! I wanna get away from home, reach beyond the stars and find a new life far away where I can make some serious credit! Don't see myself working with the Kumo Crew or Grom's reigme. And I certainly ain't helping these damn techno commies spread any further. So hey, guess Sirius Corp is the right fit for me till I feel like returning back home.
Plenty of ways to make a credit or three in these parts, Don't wanna limit myself, If someone needs to be shot? I'll do it for the right price. Some cargo moved out of system? Cut them a good deal on my cargo space...Mining? Hell, I'll do that to. Just gotta be sure the price is right...
Breaking up a commie refugee? Hell, I'll do that for purely for tips.
