Going from Friendly to Allied.

I had just handed over my bounty vouchers and was milling around the P.B.S.F. Offices. I was just chewing the fat with the vets and recruits, checking out the new recruitment videos and remembering when I was the bright eyed newbie on the block. I then see this guy standing their, I didn't see him enter the room, but he seemed to have been their all the time. I think he makes a gesture with his head towards the food and drink dispensers. Before I know it I'm walking that way and I'm standing there next to him. We've been watching you Cmdr, we may have a job for you if you're up for it? “Sure” I hear myself saying “What is it”? “Not here, use the third terminal to find your next job”. So I grab a stim and head over to the BB rooms and I go into No.3 and punch in my credentials. No sooner have I done this when I feel like someone is watching me from behind, I swivel on the chair and that guy is standing next to an open doorway, I have never seen that doorway before. He beckons me inside. Once inside the room, that looks way to big to be inside the P.B.S.F. Offices, I get my new job description. Apparently we have operatives in V 1688 Aquilae and Aphra who need combat stabilisers urgently, obviously I realise this isn't the kinda delivery job that has 'Official paperwork'.Anyway the 1st part goes off without a hitch, the contact meets me at the dock at Thompson Terminal and before I have finished exchanging greetings I have the proof of delivery tab and my hold is light some 3Tn of combat stabilisers. So I re-board the ugly and blast out into the black again. Next stop Beckman Terminal in the Aphra system. Well that was the plan. I didn’t count on the bandit in the clipper wanting my load. I don't remember his name but he drags me out of SC and demands my cargo. I have employed a tactic I don't usually use, I spin around to face him and slam the ugly into reverse. I KWS him, cause I don't want chump change I mean he's eating into my busy time after all. Before I know it he's crying over the comms channel “please” and “this jobs not worth it” then boom he is space dust. So on with the rather uneventful journey. Drop off the combat stabilisers and back to Neto for tea and biscuits. And that my friend is just another day in the P.B.S.F.
Fly safe Cmdrs.
