Kill a few pirates they said, make some money into the bargain by claiming their bounties they said. Okay I said.So off to the neighbouring systems I flew. It was only a small count 3 pirates here and another 3 in the next system. Not a large reward payout but the reputation gain for the P.B.S.F. would help with controlling the system. In fact the bounty vouchers for a 6 pirates totalled 200,000Crs approx, but the warm feeling that I was keeping the system free of pirates and helping out the P.B.S.F. was payment enough.
Pirates killed, and now I'm returning the Ising in Neto. I check out my rebuy cost, my worldly assets worth etc. I'm about 30 seconds from dropping out of Super Cruise when Didmus von Untercon interdicts me. Do I boost away from the encounter, do I turn and fight? Ah what the hell, I turn to face him and target my aggressor.
Ahw shit it's an Alpha Lima (Anaconda) and I'm in my Ugly (Vulture), I've no backup, no wing mates to speak off I'm dead in the water I figure I should have target him before turning around and just blasted away when I saw he was an Alpha Lima. BUT WAIT he's not firing he is gunning towards me but not firing. I'm guessing he is toying with me. I KWS him just for the hell of it, still no reaction. That's when I think a sod it why not? So I open fire on him NOTHING. So I figure you dragged me out of Super Cruise and don't even fire at me, you're just wasting my time so for that I'm going to kill you. 2 - 3 mins later that's exactly what I did. 107,850Crs bounty and I'm back on my way.
My only conclusion is when he dropped out of Super Cruise the pilot fell out his chair and bumped his head and the rest of the crew was attending to him whilst I blew them into their next cloned bodies.
