Current System:  Synuefe TR-I b43-9

So I'm back to the Deep Black of Space Exploration.   I'm back in the Eiriksson and it's running as expected.  Most of my time today was spent trying to get from Sothis back to the last system that I scanned and bookmarked in my Galactic Navigation Console, although there were a few systems along the way that seriously needed to be cleaned up.

Some of the more notable systems worth mentioning was one of the systems that was a stellar trinary that I had used to for a refueling ended up having a sun in a near orbit to the star that I had used for the scooping.  I counted to three seeing it before I was ready for a High Wake out of the system.

Another was HIP 31707.  First it shocked me because as an O-classed star it was bright, large and blue-white.  Enough to make me jump in my pilot's seat.  The second was the fact when I had gone to the system mape, I saw that locked in it's orbit was a black hole.  I wanted to take a picture of it -- but given it was pretty invisible from 5,000+ LS, I didn't want to get closer to the thing for fear of it's reality-warping effects.  It was better to refuel and get the hell out of there than to mess wtih my already sketchy luck.

Most others were the string of Brown Dwarf Stars that I seemed to hit on my way back to Synuefe AE-R C21-19.  And the slew of Helium and Neon Rich Atmosphere planets that I had scanned along the way.  So much so, that I was seriously thinking of changing my name to Commander Neon King.  But I won't, as I like my name exactly as it is.

During the long haul back, I had chatted with a couple of other commander over the Interstellar Network and after a little convincing I'm thinking of either a Python or an Anaconda.  I did a preliminary look at both, and either of them can be set up for some serious multi-mission sort of roles -- especially from mining to deep space exploration ro the potential for some serious bounty hunting.  About the only bad thing that I have to say about the Python is it has a rather low jump range -- lower than I'm typically used to with the Eiriksson. But I've set my projected money-making up with Inara for one of the multi--mission builds for the Python and will go from there.

And with that, I'm off to my billet to do a little light reading and to call it a night.
Do you like it?
