So, I'm heading back into the area of of the Vela Dark Sector using a vector significantly lower (into the basement) than I was the last time I was heading in this direction and into the Formidine Rift. Seems that I'm seeing unsurveyed systems as soon as 300 LYs. While the first system that I was able to hit was a Brown Dwarf with mostly neon rich atmospheric planets, it's a lot sooner than the last three exploring legs I've taken. It also seems that I'm seeing more High Metal Content Worlds less than 240 LYs from Newholm Station.
At present I'm speeding my way to the second star in the Synuefai ET-K system as it was more than 314K LY from the entry point. Fun to see two K type stars in a binary setting given that most times, it's usually 1 Type K and some form of Brown Dwarf. Both have planets that have been unexplored, so I'm here to claim them under my name.
The next time I get back to Newholm Station, I think I'm going to have to wander back into the bubble to pick myself up an AFMU as I found out through trial and error that I not only have the space, but was able to configure my load out to not only do deep space exploring, but am currently running with my 8 ton cargo module. Imagine that. Oh well, something I'll need to look into swapping out when I get back from this exploration.
