Current System: Wredguia XD-K d8-93I'm beginning the transition out into the Deep Black once again after seeing a fairly juicy sightseeing passenger mission in the Mulachi System that required a couple of stops all within easy jumping distance of the Leif Eiriksson; the dossier on the passenger was good too, but there was just something about wanting to see an ice geyser that told me it would be a needle in the haystack find. So it was back to Gorbachev Station, re-outfit and head out away from the Bubble as fast as I can.
During this mission, I'm testing a theory on the revised payouts for system surveying. I'm cherry picking already scanned systems to see whether they will still do the big payouts for HMCs, Terraformables and Earth-like worlds. While it would be nice to increase my knowledge of systems, there's something... skeezy about not only cherry picking the systems, but to scan what has already been scanned before. But hey, I need the credits and I would like to expand my experience within the Bubble and without going into piracy and smuggling, I would like to keep my career within the pilot's guild as clean as possible.
This trip, I've also considered making more landings to collect the necessary materials for the engineering that I would like to do on the ship and future ships when I can acquire them.
Dammit, I forgot to check the community goals when I stopped in at Gorbachev Station. It's just not one of those things I've gotten used to checking when I hit stations. Maybe when I get back from this survey run I'll try to remember.
Pity that the flight logs transfer isn't quite up to snuff. I hear there's an update coming soon. Until then, I'll just have to check other sources as to where I am and where I'm going.
