Current System:  Oochost PL-W c18-2

The last couple of days have certainly kept me busy.  Yesterday I had one system of 4 stars and 23 planetary bodies (Rocky Ice worlds, Gas Giants and moons) spread across 371K LS that took me more than half the day to complete the scans on.  What made is so difficult was that while the planetary bodies were spread across three orbital planes -- one for each start and one that was circling a binary of the quadrinary system -- almost none of them shared the same plane making it look like some really, really bad billiards game break.  The survey was completed, even though I seriously felt drained having to do a lot of steering to get the whole layout surveyed.

Today, I feel like this is the sort of cherry-picked mess I was seeing at the start of this deep space foray.  I think it's because I'm coming back up to the galactic plane most commonly used by pilots working on their Exploration ranks quickly.  Looking at my Galactic Map plots, it's confirmed, but it's just a momentary "surfacing".  I'll be diving below the galactic plane again in three more stars.

At the end of this survey leg, I'm going to be aiming back to Vela Dark Sector because I would like to see a darker view outside of my cockpit window.  That and I would like to be closer to Newholm Station as I suspect that the system update that's been talked about from the various news sources is a lot closer than expected.  While I'm aware that Operation; Sirius Business is still going on, it was declared to be finished by the time the global system updates are pushed out to all pilots in and out of the bubble.  I would like to see the familiar people, bases and stars of the area once again.  Sol is nice sure, but there's just something so pristine and so dirty about being stationed there even temporarily.   It's not what I would call home.

And with that, when I'm through journeying to the B star in Oochost PP-N b40-0; time to pay attention more to what I'm doing.
Do you like it?
