Entry 56 - 07.29.3303

Current System: Oochost MF-Y c17-1

I'm glad for the routine of this day from the constant vigilance and having to pay attention for the last two days.  Most of the systems I'm currently surveying have been predictable, routine and nothing really noteworthy...  Well, other than the above average amount of HMCs along this particular path.  So far, the only exception to this was Oochost PL-W c18-2 where the last three planets in this system had orbital wobbles to being outrightly perpendicular in their orbit to the orbital plane of the system.

I've been considering that once I get this leg of the surveying done, to return to the bubble and check to see how this double-scanning has been going for me given there's at least 1 earth-like and more MRs and HMCs planets during this mission.  Looking at the mission log, I'm seeing that I've only been out 8 days for this trip.  It's feeling like a shorter trip than I normally have been doing, I know.  I'm might take a moment and throw a die to see how long I should stay out for and go with that.

The die I threw is saying 11 more days...  So, the return date is going to be set for 08.09.3303.  Whether I go that far or not remains to be seen, but at least it's given me a rough idea on when I might want to return.

Time to pay attention to the mission..  As usual.  Then it's down time and communicating with friends still within the bubble.  See how they're doing, what's going on, and how the concern and panic levels are with all the alien reports streaming in through the media sources.  That way I can determine whether I'll be going back sooner or staying out longer.
Do you like it?
