Entry 78 - 08.30.3303

30 Aug 2017MBaldelli
Current System: Pencil Sector GC-U b3-5

I know I've been quiet with my entries.  While I've been fairly diligent about the system surveys I've been doing, I've been contemplating whether I want to extend my time outside the bubble instead of running the usual x number of days out (determined by a die roll), with 7 - 10 days returned before doing it in a wash, rinse, repeat cycle.  Although looking at my cargo hold and remembering that I'm carrying 4 pods in cryostasis, perhaps I might not want to consider an extended stay out.  After all, I would personally hate to find out that a year passed all because the pilot that picked me up said, "screw it, I'm going to continue surveying the milky way..."

In any case, I'll continue considering it while I finish up this leg before I head for the next leg.

Strange how discombobulated the scans, cherry picking and scan & runs performed during this leg of the trip.  I  was finding them as soon as 275 LY from Tchehen and it's been consistently messy since.  I'm currently 655.39 LY out from Crook Port and still finding them along the route I plotted.  While it's not as much money making as I had hoped, it's that many more planets with my name on them.

Well, there's 14 more jumps on this leg of the survey mission.  Then from there, I'll be deciding a new direction.  20 days until I make the decision to return home to collect the money and reputation for this trip.
Do you like it?
