Left to unlock Professor Palin: 271 LYI thought I was all sorts of technological malfunctions going on. From the Atmospheric controls running warmer (and wetter) than usual, to the thought that the primary and secondary audio controls were fading in and out, it was the sort of distractions that hindered my continued... enjoyment... of the day's survey work.
And no, I wasn't flying fatigued nor exhausted.
Although I'm not ruling out the thought that I might be beginning to suffer from space madness.
I left a system not too long ago where I actually was able to stamp my name on a First Discovered By for an ELW. Beautiful place and before you ask, no, I did not take any pictures of it. The fact of the matter is they're all beautiful regardless of who's name is stamped on it within the database. They're all blue, lush, and have incredible amounts of ocean. While I wasn't able to determine whether there was life on it of any sort with the scanner packs that the Zheng He currently possesses, I'm sure that at some point if there isn't life, there will be as it's definitely within the Goldilocks Zone.
Further, it might be a colony of we Terrans, but given the distance out it won't be during my lifetime. Or the generation that comes after me.
But that ELW is the check box on my bucket list.
