Entry 109 - 11.07.3303 The Bee-Line Home

A couple of days ago, I received the following communique as I crossed the 5,001 LY mark in my exploration mission....
Now that I've finished getting the unlock for Professor Palin I've turned the Zheng He around and am heading back to the Bubble at best possible speed.
I'm currently doing the thing that I loath the most: scan & runs through all the systems that I'm currently hitting as I plot my course back to Tchehen (out of habit). Although truth be told, if I see a WW or ELW, I might stop to do a complete system scan. After I stop there, I'm off to my home world to keep with my tradition of visiting Tomasz's grave marker.
Overall this has been a fun journey. While it would have been monotonous for the brash, the green, and definitely the tourist, I'm fairly certain that this turn in will push me over the top for my first Elite ranking in Exploration. I look forward to adding that pin to my suit, my uniform and more importantly the ships that I own.
While I haven't had much luck finding Neutron Stars or even a Black Hole during this journey, I can say that I have more than 20 WWs, 5 ELWs and Hundreds of terraformables among the HMC and MR worlds on this run. I had begun seeing a patterns in the Gas Giants in the sector of space I was cutting through that included both Ammonia-based microorganisms on Gas Giants along with Water-based microorganisms on them as well. While I'm not expecting more than 50 million credits, secretly I'm hoping for more.
That's all I have time for right now. Off to push until I can't no more.
