CMDR Crane here,Ive found a new home in the Andel system at a coriolis called Sharp Dock. I figured I'd get off the ground for a bit and after surveying a few systems in the area Ive found this this will probably be the most lucrative to work in. It's a high-tech system with a good economy and great resource zones. Plus, it's controlled by Felicia Winters so it is aligned with the Federation. I can get mining done here and metals sell for a decent price here at the station. I made the move here with CMDR Midemse since me and him have been running together quite a bit lately. Maybe I can get CMDR Karnager to come join us. Midemse and I both purchased Asp Explorers with the funds from our involvement in the Fedmich Operations. Im currently waiting for it to be transferred from 39 Tauri so I can get to work on installing some new modules. Im not quite sure if I want to sell my Type 6 or my Cobra yet. And I still dont even know what to name my new Asp. Im sure a good one will come to me.
Im almost a rating 3 with Felicia Winters. Im looking forward to the module disrupting pulse beams that are issued to all who pledge their allegiance to her. Once this power cycle ends I'll be a rating 3 then I'll be eligible for 20 power commodities every 30 minutes instead of 15. That will be a bit of a boost. For now I'll just try to keep my merits around 750 in order to keep my rating, but Im not going to pay to fulfill more merits than I am allocated for free anymore. Not for now at least.
Ive still been smuggling quite a bit and honestly I dont see that coming to an end anytime soon. I am thoroughly addicted. I know it's risky, but the thrill of it I cant let go of. Not to mention Ive found a route between Chujohimba & CD-75 661, which are only about 8ly apart, that pays almost 4k CR per ton of Imperial slaves. I should be able to cram quite a bit of them in my new Asp. It's a short trip too so you dont need to accommodate sleeping quarters for them. I was making 400k CR per trip in my Type 6. I wonder how much cargo the Asp can hold. My hands are trembling while typing this waiting on it to be transferred here. I didnt bother flying it because the jump range was so low with the stock FSD so I just paid to have it transferred here because there were no good upgrades available where I bought it. I bought it there because it was available at a 15% discount from the normal market rate. I cant wait to test it out. I havent been this excited in a long time.
Ive caught wind of some people known as engineers. A few of them have actually contacted me directly. Im going to head to meet with one of them. A man they call "The Dweller." From what I hear he has access to some pretty high-tech power distributors so Im going to find out what he wants for his information. I know nothing in this world is free except death. So, that's what I'll be up to for the time being. I've been getting an itch to go explore the galaxy more and more though so who knows.
