Wow. Just read the news about the barnacle discoveries in the Pleiades. This changes everything: maybe those old wives' tales about the Thargoids have some sort of basis in fact.Anyhow, it led me to do a rapid refit of Deja Vu. Not going unarmed any more: no way, no how. I've seen how the black can surprise you, and not in a good way.
Turns out the old girl can tote 4x class 1 pulses and 2x class 1 multi-cannons without much loss of jump range. Also, I swapped in a bi-weave shield. If I do get into a scrap, I'm going to have to use attrition tactics.
