"Tell you what, you give me a name. I'll keep the door shut. Deal?" Lilith said through the comms. Inside the airlock, an Imperial Officer, a Lord, no-one too important, but important enough, she figured. "Tell me who ordered the strike on the Beluga. Who decided it was perfectly fine to attack a DAMN CRUISE LINER?!?!"
It had been several years since she left Sol, always with the plan of finding those responsible for the death of her Mother. At first, the trail was cold. Ice cold. She had almost given up searching until she happened upon a disgruntled Imperial. Ex-Imperial to be specific. Turns out he was discharged for allowing civilian casualties on a snatch and grab mission. A shot to the kneecap later, she'd been given the first link in what was to become a long chain leading up until this moment.
In Liliths experience, Imperials were a cocky bunch, but this guy? He was just plain arrogant. "Get stuffed!" He spat. Trying to appear brave and unbreakable. He was obviously neither, his eyes betrayed him as they darted around the small room, looking for an escape. Sadly for him, the internal control panel had been disabled, Lilith wasn't about to enter in a door opening contest with him.
"Very well your Lordship." Lilith grinned. Turning a few dials she began the depressurisation process, but set it to a very slow purge. The first couple of minutes had the Lord standing looking confused as warning lights went off but nothing appeared to happen. Then it hit him, each breath he took needed to be bigger, until even his largest ones weren't enough. As his face turned purple and his eyes began to bulge he banged his hands on the window. "Ready to talk??" Lilith spat, furious nodding was all the man could manage before he fell.
Lilith pressed the cancel button, and turned the dials back. The room repressurised in seconds and was soon filled with the sound of the man gulping in air. "Whenever you're ready." Grumped Lilith impatiently, tapping her foot, crossing her arms and rolling her eyes and showing complete disinterest in the mans fate.
"Flies a Clipper near Achenar. Macruik!!! Name's Macruik!!" He yelled, still gasping for air. "Just.... Just leave my name out of it. He'll kill me otherwise!!"
"Oh don't worry, he won't." She said sadistically. Watching the fear mount in the mans eyes as he realised just what was about to happen. "I wonder if you'll burn up or suffocate first??" Lilith smiled before slamming down the button, opening the airlock doors out into the vacuum and watching the man fly out through the debris of his Imperial Eagle, and towards the M class star she'd stopped by for refueling.
*Alright then, into Imp space I go* She thought to herself, returning to the cockpit of her Python and plotting a route deep into Empire territory. She'd have to be careful though. Not only did she have family ties to the Federation. In her hunt for the various Imperial Officers she'd racked up several bounties in multiple systems. That wasn't to say the Federation wasn't after her, nor even saw her as an ally, but she did tend to steer clear of Federal interaction as much as possible.
Spooling up her FSD, Lilith began the journey into hostile territory.
