I don't know where all this thargoid stuff is going but it doesn't sit right with me. after my last interaction with the thargoids went sideways i couldn't shake the thought " why CMDR thefoodwagon and not me". the thargoid ship showed no hostility to me but almost instantly attacked CMDR thefoodwagon's Imperial Cutter. i immediately dispatched all available commanders to investigate and we made a discovery. CMDR thefoodwagon had just come from the ruins in the Synuefe XR-H d11-102 system and was hauling ancient relics and distinctly remember how much the machine at the thargoid settlement disliked the relics. i immediately gathered the crew of the HMCS PATHFINDER my long range exploration Orca and went to the ruins at Synuefe XR-H d11-102 and when i next encountered a thargoid ship it showed similar behaviour as before but this time it did not appreciate my prescience. as per my plan i dropped the relic i had inboard and the thargoid immediately disengaged from my ship and opened fire on the relic rendering it but dust in the void before looking at me once more and then continued scanning the surrounding debris. it wasn't CMDR thefoodwagon that the thargoid disliked it was his cargo. whether its fear or hatred that the thargoids have for guardian tech is still unsure but the outcome is the same and i will not loose crew for cargo. but as i said before i'm worried, I'm concerned that what ever conflict the thargoids have or had with the guardians and what ever the federation did to get involved is going to effect everyone including people like me and my crew who want to stay neutral and work with the thargoids who may hold the keys to numerous possible scientific discovery.Name - CMDR Volwrath
