Exploration Log #3

13 Dec 2022Draegard
After another minor eternity, I've covered 14,400 LY to NGC 6357. This expedition has turned into a migraine machine, and the millisecond pulsars don't help in that regard. The nebula is an interesting blue cloud, and there are a number of nice, blue B-type stars in the region - the first I've seen in the entire trip.

From here, it's a straight shot back home to Achelous; about 8,300 LY - a stone's throw compared to what I've already covered.
Annoyingly, I've not discovered any Earth-like worlds in 40,000 LY of travel, whereas a few years ago I managed to find two or three in a fraction of the distance - and much closer to the bubble.

Here's hoping the last leg will prove fruitful.
