I try not to spam the logbooks and I know I posted one yesterday; but I was out exploring and came across a fantastic little B-binary system. Which wasn't too unusual, but there was also a black hole ridiculously close to it, and I ended up getting a fairly fun pic
I'm not normally that fussed about "tagging" stuff, but this was probably one of the nicest things I'd seen since coming back to Elite, so I scuttled back to Colonia to log it in with Unicart.While there, I was thumbing through my stats and discovered that since I'd come back to Elite in September last year after a long break, I'd somehow managed to rack up a little over two million more light years >.< I thought just for fun, I'd do a hasty compilation vid of my favourite pics since returning to Elite, which I quickly bodged together.
Although its basically a very rushed slideshow, I wanted to use it as a huge "THANK YOU!" to Artie and the rest of the Inara community. I'd never used Inara back in the early days of Elite, and have only started using it since coming back to the game. It's been constantly open on the pc whenever I'm out exploring, just so I can read all the Things, look at all the amazing pics, stay up to date in the discussion threads and follow the fantastic banter and rp on the boards! It's kept me from going fully space crazy when I'm dragging my feet at some ungodly hour in the morning!
The website is a fantastic gift and without sounding like a horrible suck-up, thanks SO much Artie - it's genuinely made my E:D experience a whole different game

(I'm not great with the whole vid thing, it's horribly choppy and there was a bit of loss on the quality unfortunately, but hopefully not too bad! The goofy title is just a little nod to all fellow explorey types
