My first logbook entry as an independent ship owner. I purchased the Asp Explorer, after a successful test flight.
As a barman at Casanova's I had listened to the pilots over the years talk about buying and selling rare goods and I had made careful notes of what they had said. There was good money to be made but it was risky running such high-value cargo and I would need a fast strong ship to avoid the pirates.
I had spent a small fortune having the ships systems upgraded with A-rated modules. She now had the speed to escape trouble, the cargo hold to take a decent amount of cargo and an FSD drive and a fuel scoop to get me across the "bubble" of inhabited space with ease. The last of my money had been spent filling the cargo racks with Sothis Crystalline Gold.
The paintwork was refreshed with the ships new name - Supernova. She was ready to leave and so was I. It was time to leave Sothis behind me and blaze my our own a path in the galaxy.
