New digs

I met with Ashley in our new digs at the station. I wasn't disappointed. We had an executive apartment but only one double bed.
I teased Ashley asking where she expected me to stay. She smiled and said she hoped I would stay with her. I didn't take much convincing. We hadn't received any missions and it was nice to have some time off. We spent the best part of the week in the apartment getting to know each other.
I am a little worried that this could get complicated. Ashley is my boss and getting involved with her might make our dynamic confusing. Given the nature of our work we have no time for emotions getting in the way or clouding our judgment. I tried to talk to Ashley about it but she got angry, thinking that having had my fun I was trying to give her the brush off.
Things have been a little frosty since then. Exactly the thing I was worried about. I want to kick myself - never mix work and pleasure - when will I learn.
